Judge René Cruz
In the past year of the pandemic, I streamlined court processes in my courtrooms to improve access to court proceedings and allow litigants to focus on their families, their finances and their wellbeing. Additionally, I collaborated with the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts to ensure that Limited English Proficient (L.E.P.) litigants received the highest caliber interpreting services at the minimal cost to the 16th Circuit. I hope to use my diverse background, values, knowledge and experiences to continue innovating in the interests of the public.
As Your Justice..
